Art+Action presents The Butterfly Effect: Migration is Beautiful, an art project led by youth activists in the Bay Area who are creating a visual representation of the migrant children in detention in order to raise awareness and inspire action to end child detention—mirroring the ethos of the Census that every child and family counts. A free, family-friendly, open-to-the-public event held in conjunction with Art+Action Coalition Partner Museum of the African Diaspora (MoAD) for The Northern California Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Community Foundation’s San Francisco MLK Day.
