Youth Artist Open Call: COME TO YOUR CENSUS Billboard

Art+Action is pleased to announce an Open Call for San Francisco Bay Area-based youth artists, aged 5-18 years old, to submit an artwork as part of Art+Action’s arts-driven outdoor media campaign COME TO YOUR CENSUS, S.F.. The initiative aims to uplift artistic voices to inspire communities to participate in the 2020 Census so they can receive their fair share of federal funding and political representation. The artwork selected will appear on a billboard, in Art+Action’s 2020 Census online toolkit, and our social media outlets. 

The selected artwork will appear in the Spring of 2020 on a billboard in one of these San Francisco neighborhoods: Balboa Park, Excelsior, Mission, Nopa, North Beach, Tenderloin, or Visitation Valley. The artist will be highlighted as a Featured Artist in Art+Action’s campaign—among locally and internationally renowned artists—and will receive a grand prize award of $1,000.
